Brazil defender Danilo makes way for Fagner as Tite makes one change for his side's Group E clash with Costa Rica.

Brazil defender Danilo makes way for Fagner as the five-time champions make one change for his side's Group E clash with Costa Rica this afternoon.

Despite Tite insisting that his side would be unchanged for Friday's clash, Manchester City full-back Danilo is replaced by Corinthians defender Fagner following last Sunday's 1-1 draw with Switzerland.

Elsewhere, Brazil's side is untouched, with Alisson Becker starting in goal, Marcelo at left-back and Miranda and Thiago Silva at centre-back.

Barcelona duo Paulinho and Philippe Coutinho start in midfield alongside Casemiro, while Willian and Gabriel Jesus support Paris Saint-Germain attacker Neymar up top.

Costa Rica boss Oscar Ramirez also opts for one change to his side, as Brian Oviedo comes in for Francisco Calvo in the five-man defence.

The four-man midfield that started against Serbia remains the same, with Celso Borges, David Guzman, Johan Venegas and skipper Bryan Ruiz all given the nod, while Marco Urena starts up top.

Brazil: Alisson; Fagner, Miranda, Silva, Marcelo; Casemiro, Coutinho; Paulinho, Willian, Jesus; Neymar
Subs: Fernandinho, Augusto, Firmino, Luis, Geromel, Danilo, Cassio, D Costa, Marquinhos, Ederson, Taison

Costa Rica: Navas; Acosta, Gonzalez, Duarte, Oviedo, Gamboa; Borges, Ruiz, Guzman, Venegas; Urena
Subs: Daniel Colindres, Campbell, Bolanos, Smith, Wallace, Waston, Gutiérrez, Calvo, Tejeda, Moreira, Pemberton, Azofeifa
