Braga moved up to third in the Portuguese Primeira Liga after a convincing 4-0 home win against Belenenses.

Ahmed Hassan put the hosts into the lead after 39 minutes, before Luis Leal was sent off after picking up two yellow cards in two minutes early on in the second half.

The Archbishops took full advantage of having an extra man on the field, with Ricardo Ferreira and Nikola Stojiljkovic both scoring within the space of four minutes shortly after Leal's dismissal.

Portugal international midfielder Rafa Silva then wrapped up the win with just over 15 minutes remaining by scoring the fourth for Paulo Fonseca's side.

Braga are now just two points behind league leaders Sporting Lisbon and one point behind second-placed Porto, while Belenenses remain in 10th.
