Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe has admitted that he would like to bring on-trial Cork City striker Danny Morrissey to the club on a permanent basis.
Howe said that the player was put through his paces in a reserve game and he is now waiting until January to see if a deal can be agreed upon with the Irish club.
"We have had a good look and we certainly like him," Howe told the Bournemouth Daily Echo. "He is a good player and a very good finisher. He did well in the reserve game.
"He scored, worked incredibly hard and showed some good touches. He has gone back to Ireland so we will wait and see what happens."
Bournemouth take on Sheffield Wednesday away from home on Saturday.
