Joshua King happy with first Bournemouth goal

Bournemouth forward Joshua King expresses his delight at scoring his first goal for the club in the 2-2 draw against Swansea City.

Bournemouth forward Joshua King hopes his goal in the 2-2 draw against Swansea City will be the first of many at the South Coast club.

The Norweigian international joined Eddie Howe's side from Blackburn Rovers in the summer, and he opened his account for the club with an early strike at the Liberty Stadium.

The former Manchester United man expressed his delight at finally scoring but admitted that it was disappointing that it did not coincide with a Cherries victory.

The 23-year-old told the club's website: "Personally it's good to get your first goal to build confidence, it's a bit disappointing not to get all three points, because I think we played very well today.

"My goal came from amazing work from Junior [Stanislas], I was running and making space in the box and then just saw me and put it on a plate for me."

"I am hoping that getting one on the board now will help open up the floodgates for me."

King has made 11 appearances for Bournemouth this season in the Premier League.
