Eddie Howe expects Bournemouth improvement

Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe expects the Championship side to improve their away form this season.

Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe has backed the Championship side to improve their away form this season.

The Cherries have won both of their home matches so far, but have conceded 11 goals in their two defeats on the road.

"I'm certainly frustrated but we will respond as we always do," Howe told the club's official website.

"We've won two out of four. We have conceded a lot of goals in the two away games, which highlights an issue and a problem but it's something we will have to address."

Bournemouth return to action on Wednesday when they travel to Watford in round two of the Capital One Cup.
