Viewers will choose whether Denise ends up with Jack or Ravi as part of the upcoming interactive EastEnders storyline.

Viewers will decide whether Denise (Diane Parish) chooses to be with estranged husband Jack (Scott Maslen) or secret lover Ravi (Aaron Thiara) as part of the live interactive EastEnders storyline.

Next month the soap celebrates its milestone 40th anniversary with a week of special episodes, which will see a huge explosion rock the Square, a live broadcast and Grant Mitchell (Ross Kemp) returning for the occasion.

Departing executive producer Chris Clenshaw has also revealed that the outcome of a romantic storyline will be voted for live by the viewers during the week, and now it has been confirmed that it will focus on the Denise-Jack-Ravi triangle.

"We're all so excited to give our audience their first ever chance to decide how one of our big storylines plays out," explained Clenshaw.

"Their votes will determine whether Denise picks Jack or Ravi, with the outcome being revealed as part of our live episode.

"There is a lot to come over the next few weeks for all three involved, so it'll be extremely exciting to see which way the audience choose to take the story!"

Details of how and when the vote will take place will be confirmed in the coming weeks.
