Bournemouth "disappointed" by Harry Arter one-match ban

Eddie Howe says that he is upset by the Football Association's decision to suspend Bournemouth midfielder Harry Arter for one match.

Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe has expressed his dismay at the Football Association's 'harsh' decision to ban midfielder Harry Arter for one match.

The charge is in relation to the 25-year-old's language and/or behaviour in or around the tunnel area after the Cherries' 3-1 defeat at Brentford last month.

Arter, who was also hit with a £2,000 fine for his part in the incident, will now miss out on this weekend's championship clash against Blackpool.

Speaking to the club's official website, Howe commented: "We are very disappointed by the decision and feel that Harry has been harshly treated on this occasion. However, we must now accept the punishment and move on."

Arter has made 38 appearances for Bournemouth in all competitions this season, scoring six goals from his midfield position.
