Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe 'admires' Arsenal

Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe pays tribute to the quality of Arsenal ahead of this weekend's Premier League clash between the two sides.

Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe has said that he 'admires' Arsenal for their brand of football ahead of Saturday's Premier League clash between the two teams in London.

Arsenal have only won one of their last four in the league and will welcome a Bournemouth side that recorded an impressive 1-0 victory away to Stoke City last weekend.

Howe, however, has conceded that Jack Wilshere, who is ineligible to face his parent club, "will be a big miss" for the Cherries at the Emirates Stadium.

"There's a lot to admire about Arsenal. They always stick to their philosophies and are very loyal to their style of play. They have certainly had a big influence on the way I try to manage here. They are a few similarities in the way both sides play," Howe told reporters.

"Jack Wilshere will be a big miss for us. He's been excellent, both with and without the ball. They have quality and pace off the bench. It shows a lot about their attitude given that they have scored a lot of late goals."

Bournemouth currently sit 10th in the Premier League table on 15 points, while Arsenal occupy the fourth and final Champions League berth, one point ahead of fifth-placed Tottenham Hotspur, who travel to leaders Chelsea on Saturday night.
