Mats Hummels has insisted that he is in no rush to begin fresh contract talks with Borussia Dortmund.
The German centre-back has long been linked with a move away from the Bundesliga, with Manchester United believed to have a long-standing interest in the 27-year-old.
Hummels's current deal at Dortmund will expire next June, but the defender has revealed that talks over a new deal have not yet begun.
"There have not been any talks in any direction. Everything's still very quiet. I am relaxed about this issue because I don't see that I am pushed for time," Hummels told reporters.
Hummels has made 28 appearances for his club this season and 283 in total since joining from Bayern Munich.
