Nuri Sahin admits that he is "happy" to be back at Borussia Dortmund following his brief loan stint at Liverpool.

Nuri Sahin has revealed that he is "happy" to have returned to his former club Borussia Dortmund from Liverpool.

The Premier League club announced today that they had terminated the loan agreement with Real Madrid over Sahin and that he would finish the season in the Bundesliga, where he began his senior career.

"I am happy to be home again," BBC Sport quotes Sahin as saying. "My contact with the club officials, players and coaches never stopped in the past year and a half. I hope I can quickly help the team."

The 24-year-old was expected to complete the season at Anfield following his switch from the Bernabeu.
