Borussia Dortmund midfielder Nuri Sahin has said that he has been impressed by their trio of summer signings.
BVB have signed Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Sokratis Papastathopoulous and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang this summer and Sahin, who re-joined the club from Real Madrid in January, has said that the arrivals have made an impression on him.
"The new guys are absolutely good people who want to fit in well," Sahin told reporters.
"We've already seen what [Mkhitaryan] Micki - who joined for a club record €27.5m - can do. [Papastathopoulos] is a very cool, relaxed guy and [Aubameyang] brings incredible speed and skill with him.
"We do not want anything like last year to happen again (losing the Bundesliga and Champions League final to Bayern Munich) and we hope to have a really good season."
Sahin spent six months on loan at Liverpool last season before shortly returning to Madrid ahead of his switch to Jurgen Klopp's side.
