Bolton Wanderers have completed the signing of England Under-19 forward Rob Hall on a three-year deal after his contract with West Ham United expired.
Hall spent 12 years at the Hammers having joined the club in 2001, but he only managed a total of seven appearances for the first team during that time.
The 19-year-old spent a brief spell on loan at Bolton at the end of last season and did enough to convince manager Dougie Freedman to make the move permanent despite making just one league appearance.
"West Ham United would like to thank Rob for his hard work and wish him every success in his future career," read a statement on the Hammers' official website.
The two clubs are now discussing compensation for the player before the deal is finalised.
