Bolton Wanderers boss Owen Coyle claims that his side should have "achieved points" after losing to Fulham on Saturday.

Bolton Wanderers boss Owen Coyle believes that his side should have "achieved points" after losing 3-0 to Fulham on Saturday.

The result leaves Bolton 16th in the Premier League table, a point clear of the relegation zone, with seven games remaining.

"I think there's no doubt about it, being at home, and given the run of form we have been in, then it was a game we thought we could have achieved points from. We gave ourselves a lot to do, second-half to be fair we had spells where we battled well," Coyle told Sky Sports News.

Bolton face Newcastle United in the Premier League on Monday.
