Owen Coyle has thanked the travelling Bolton supporters following their 2-0 triumph at Millwall.
The Bolton boss, who has been under increasing pressure at the Reebok Stadium this season, admits that the club were delighted to reward the fans with a winning performance at the Den.
"I'd like to thank the fans," he said. "We had more than 1,000 with us and their backing was top notch. We're delighted for them.
"The result was paramount, but the performance with it was pleasing. We scored two terrific goals and could have had a couple of others, if truth be told.
"Millwall are dangerous opponents, but we stood up to them. We passed and moved the ball well, were able to go from strength-to-strength and at the back we defended well."
Meanwhile, The Trotters are one place off the bottom of the Premier League.
