Liverpool near Thomas Ince agreement

Thomas Ince is nearing a return to Liverpool after the Reds reportedly offer Blackpool £6m for the 20-year-old winger.

Liverpool are reportedly close to finalising a deal to bring Thomas Ince back to the club after increasing their bid for the sought-after winger.

An initial offer of £4.75m was rejected by the 20-year-old's current club, Blackpool, who signed Ince from Anfield in the summer of 2011.

After learning of interest from Swansea City, the Reds were prompted into an improved bid of £6m, which is closer to the Championship club's valuation.

Ince has scored 13 times for the Tangerines in 26 appearances this season.
