Blackburn Rovers resigned to losing Junior Hoilett?

Blackburn Rovers have reportedly accepted that they will be forced to relinquish Junior Hoilett this summer.

The newly-relegated side were believed to be trying to keep hold of the in-demand winger, who is thought to be keen on leaving Ewood Park in the transfer window.

It is understood that Blackburn boss Steve Kean held talks with the Canadian player but they proved to be unsuccessful, with the 21-year-old determined to move on.

"There is no chance that Junior can now stay at Blackburn Rovers," the Lancashire Telegraph quotes a source as saying.

"He has loved his time at the club but he wants to be playing at the highest level possible. He will look at all his options. The staff and the players know he is leaving and wish him the best."

Reading are reportedly the latest club to enter the race for the winger.
