Blackburn boss Steve Kean admits that a number of players could leave the recently-relegated club in the summer.

Blackburn Rovers manager Steve Kean has admitted that a number of players could leave the club at the end of the season.

Rovers ended a 11-year stay in the Premier League on Monday night when they were beaten 1-0 by Wigan Athletic.

Junior Hoilett and Yakubu are just two of the names to have been linked with moves away from Ewood Park.

"We know there is going to be interest, as there always is at times like this when a team gets relegated," Kean told reporters. "You have other clubs that will try to pick off the best of your players.

"There is going to be that interest, but we are attempting to keep the majority of the squad together and build a squad that can bounce back."

Blackburn end their Premier League campaign on Sunday with a trip to Chelsea.
