Gary Bowyer has said that Blackburn Rovers are "tirelessly working" as they try to bring new players to the club this summer.
The Championship side confirmed the capture of Chris Brown from Doncaster Rovers earlier this week, while Luke Varney is also expected to sign after reaching the end of his deal with Leeds United.
The manager told the Lancashire Telegraph: "We're tirelessly working away to get a couple more in. It's constant, absolutely constant.
"We're speaking to different agents about players, both in and out. We're working very hard to get things over the line as we feel we could still strengthen in one or two areas."
Blackburn finished eighth in the Championship in the 2013-14 season.
