Blackburn Rovers striker Leon Best has joined Championship rivals Sheffield Wednesday on a one-month emergency loan, it has been reported.
The 27-year-old, who had two loan spells with the Owls earlier in his career, will remain at Hillsborough until March 12, and has been cleared to play in their FA Cup fifth-round tie at home to Charlton Athletic tomorrow, according to the Lancashire Telegraph.
Best has not played for Rovers in nearly four months, with his last appearance for the club coming in the 1-0 home loss to the Addicks on October 19 after having missed most of last season through injury.
The Republic of Ireland international has scored two goals in 16 games for Rovers since his move from Newcastle United in July 2012.
