Blackburn Rovers striker Yakubu has praised the influence of manager Steve Kean following today's 3-2 win over Manchester United.
Nigerian international Yakubu, who scored twice at Old Trafford, believes that Kean deserves much of the credit for the result.
"Yes I'm so pleased because of the way we played, we fought for each other as a team and gave everything," Yakubu told ESPN after the match. "Give credit to the players. To keep fighting like this it's a great day for the club.
"Give credit to the manager. All season he's been under pressure but we are behind him and to get a result at Old Trafford is great."
Blackburn have moved up to 18th in the Premier League table.
