Blackburn Rovers manager Steve Kean has backed goalkeeper Paul Robinson to make a return to the England squad.
The 31-year-old, who has been capped 41 times by his country, retired from international football in 2010.
However, Kean believes that the shotstopper still has something to offer the national team.
"I certainly think he is good enough to get back in there and, with the change at the top, who's to say he can't do it?" he told The Telegraph.
Robinson signed for Rovers from Tottenham Hotspur in 2008.
