Birmingham City unveil a new club crest celebrating their 140th anniversary that will be present on shirts for the 2015-16 season only.

Birmingham City have unveiled a new crest that will be present next season to celebrate the 140th anniversary of the club.

The Championship club said this afternoon that the new emblem would appear on shirts for the 2015-16 season only.

The design intertwines the BCFC club initials and also includes the years 1875 and 2015.

Gary Rowett's side finished 10th in the second tier last season.
