Report: Eibar want Javi Chica

A report claims that Eibar want to sign former Real Betis defender Javi Chica on a free transfer.

Eibar are reportedly the favourites to land Javi Chica on a free transfer this summer.

The 29-year-old is currently a free agent after leaving Real Betis at the end of last season following their relegation to the Segunda Division.

According to Marca, Chica is not currently short of offers, but Eibar are the favourites to secure the Spaniard's signature on a short-term deal.

Cordoba and Real Valladolid have also been linked with the former Espanyol youngster.
