Real Betis and Getafe play out a goalless draw in a La Liga match of few chances this evening.

Neither Real Betis nor Getafe could find a breakthrough in their La Liga match this evening as they played out a goalless 90 minutes.

The home side had the first clear sight of goal in the 18th minute when Paulao rose highest in the area to connect with a cross, but his header was straight at Jordi Cordina in the Getafe goal.

The visitors had to wait until the 43rd minute for their first good chance, and it should have provided them with the opening goal. Pedro Leon attacked a loose ball inside the area but Adrian did well to gather despite being under pressure from two attackers.

Getafe came close again in the 65th minute when Xavi Torres advanced into the Betis box before firing a low strike towards the bottom corner, but it skidded just wide of the post.

Both sides pushed for the opening goal in the closing stages, but neither could find it as the match ended 0-0.
