Bayern Munich pair Jerome Boateng and Robert Lewandowski were involved in a bust-up during a training session on Wednesday.

The incident came about after a collision between the two players, which drew an angry reaction from Boateng.

A number of teammates, including captain Philipp Lahm, Rafinha and Mehdi Benatia stepped in to mediate the confrontation between the defender and striker.

Manager Pep Guardiola then sent both players back to the changing rooms before continuing the session ahead of his side's final game of the season at home to Mainz 05 on Saturday.
