Mario Gomez's agent rules out a move to Fiorentina, but admits that his client is likely to leave Bayern Munich.

The agent of Bayern Munich striker Mario Gomez has denied speculation that his client is likely to move to Serie A side Fiorentina.

Uli Ferber, who recently ruled out a transfer to another Italian side Napoli, also said that wherever Gomez does end up he will require regular first-team football.

"That's not true," Ferber told Sport1.

"[Finding a new club] is not going to be a major assignment, but one thing is for sure - he will only go to a club where he will be a first-choice striker."

Gomez has scored 25 goals in 58 caps for Germany.
