Bayern Munich scrape past Wolfsburg

Bayern Munich scrape past Wolfsburg for a 1-0 Bundesliga win.

Bayern Munich have again won narrowly in the Bundesliga, this time edging past Wolfsburg 1-0.

It was the visitors who could have gone ahead early on, but former Bayern man Luiz Gustavo's header was tipped over well by Manuel Neuer.

Wolfsburg were looking very solid at the back and in the first half Bayern were limited to shots from range and could not find the target.

The hosts started to come into the game more in the second half after some substitutions from Pep Guardiola, and it was Thomas Muller who scored on 65 minutes as he arrived at the far post to convert Franck Ribery's cross.

They could have added to their lead but Mario Mandzukic failed to meet Rafinha's cross and in the end held on for a narrow win.
