Thomas Tuchel: 'I hope that Marco Reus explodes in Der Klassiker'

Borussia Dortmund coach Thomas Tuchel says that he hopes out-of-form winger Marco Reus can "explode" against Bayern Munich in Der Klassiker.

Borussia Dortmund coach Thomas Tuchel has said that he hopes that winger Marco Reus can "explode" into form when they face rivals Bayern Munich in Der Klassiker on Sunday.

Reus has found things tough going for BVB in the early part of the new Bundesliga season, but the winger's boss has backed the 26-year-old to come good and cause some damage against the league leaders.

"I always have the hope that Marco explodes. It is true that he is struggling right now," Tuchel told a press conference, according to Goal.com.

"We see in his analytic stats that he is working very hard and how he fights and he will come back, hopefully tomorrow."

Unbeaten Dortmund currently hold second position in the German top flight, having won five of their seven fixtures so far this campaign.
