Javi Martinez experiencing impaired vision
Bayern Munich manager Jupp Heynckes confirms that Javi Martinez is struggling with a problem in his left eye following a clash in last night's match with Borussia Monchengladbach.

Bayern Munich midfielder Javi Martinez is thought to be struggling to see out of his left eye following a clash in last night's draw with Borussia Monchengladbach.

Martinez collided with Gladbach defender Martin Stranzl in the 1-1 draw at the Allianz Arena and was quickly substituted after complaining of blurred vision.

Bayern boss Jupp Heynckes confirmed to reporters that Martinez "can't see in his left eye" but refused to comment further on the extent of the problem.

The Spanish midfielder is a huge doubt for Tuesday's cup tie at home to Augsburg, which is the Bundesliga leaders' last match before the winter break.
