Pep Guardiola: "Freiburg wanted it more"

Bayern Munich head coach Pep Guardiola admits that his side lacked fight during their defeat to Freiburg.

Pep Guardiola has conceded that his Bayern Munich side did not show enough "fighting spirit" during their defeat to Freiburg yesterday afternoon.

The champions slipped to a 2-1 loss courtesy of a last-minute strike from Nils Petersen.

It was a third straight Bundesliga loss for Bayern, who Guardiola admits have found it difficult to find top form in recent weeks.

"Freiburg wanted it more and showed more fighting spirit in chasing the win," he told the club's official website.

"It's not been easy for us since winning the league. We have one more match before we head off on holiday and into the future."

Bayern's final game of the season will see them take on Mainz at the Allianz Arena next weekend.
