Bayern Munich are unable to make a breakthrough in a goalless 45 minute against Hamburger SV.

Bayern Munich have found it difficult to create chances in a goalless first half against Hamburger SV in their Bundesliga meeting.

It was a tight start to the match as both sides struggled to create openings against two sets of stubborn defences.

However, it came as little surprise to see Bayern take control midway through the first half, with their first chance being wasted when Claudio Pizarro fired over from Rafinha's cross.

As the first half progressed, Bayern continued to dominate possession, but they were left frustrated by their determined opponents in the final third of the pitch.

Juan Bernat looked dangerous when he was able to get forward for the visitors, and he forced Jaroslav Drobny into a rare save with a firm effort from the edge of the box.
