Leading goalscorer Mario Gomez is rested by Bayern Munich for this evening's Champions League tie against Marseille.

Bayern Munich have rested leading goalscorer Mario Gomez for this evening's Champions League quarter-final against Marseille.

In his place is Ivica Olic, who will be partnered by Thomas Muller.

Former Chelsea winger Arjen Robben has also been dropped to the Bayern bench.

Loic Remy has been passed fit to lead the line for visiting Marseille.
