Team News: Three changes for Bayer Leverkusen ahead of Roma clash

Bayer Leverkusen and Roma make three and two changes respectively ahead of Tuesday night's Champions League Group E clash against Roma at the BayArena.

Bayer Leverkusen manager Roger Schmidt has made three changes ahead of his side's Champions League Group E clash against Roma at the BayArena.

Wendell, Kevin Kampl and Hakan Calhanoglu are reinstated to the Bundesliga side's starting XI, with Sebastian Boenisch and Julian Brandt dropped to the bench and Stefan Kiessling ruled out with a muscle injury.

Meanwhile, the visiting Giallorossi make two changes, with Antonio Rudiger and Radja Nainggolan back in Rudi Garcia's starting lineup in place of Leandro Castan and Iago Falque, who are among the substitutes.

Roma sit bottom of Group E with just one point from their opening two matches, while Leverkusen and BATE Borisov sit just behind leaders Barcelona with three points apiece.

Bayer Leverkusen: Leno, Wendell, Tah, Papadopoulos, Donati, Toprak, Kramer, Bellarbi, Kampl, Hernandez, Calhanoglu
Subs: Kresic, Boenisch, Jedvaj, Brandt, Ramalho, Mehmedi, Yurchenko

Roma: Szczesny, Digne, Rudiger, Manolas, Torosidis, Pjanic, De Rossi, Salah, Nainggolan, Florenzi, Gervinho
Subs: De Sanctis, Castan, Maicon, Vainqueur, Dzeko, Falque, Iturbe
