Barnsley have signed Stoke City striker George Waring on an initial one-month loan deal.
The 20-year-old, who is currently in his second spell at the Britannia Stadium, will go straight into the Reds' squad for this weekend's League One meeting against Yeovil Town.
"George will give us that presence we've been lacking in the final third," Barnsley boss Danny Wilson told reporters. "He's a very tall lad and he will, hopefully, be able to link the play and help us sustain pressure on the opposition for us."
Waring previously spent time at Everton as a youngster.
