Fulham striker Marcello Trotta has joined League One side Barnsley on loan until January 5.
The 22-year-old had spent much of the last two seasons on loan at Brentford and had been linked with a move back to Griffin Park, but Fulham were reluctant to loan Trotta to a Championship rival.
Trotta, who is yet to make an appearance for Fulham, now joins teammate Ryan Williams in South Yorkshire after the winger extended his loan spell for another month on Friday.
Despite not yet representing the Cottagers, Trotta's form for Brentford earned him two call ups to the Italian Under-21 side.
