Sports Mole looks over Tuesday's Championship clash at Oakwell between Barnsley and Brighton.

It's back to the reality of a relegation fight for Barnsley after Saturday's FA Cup quarter-final trouncing at Premier League champions Manchester City.

A win for Bristol City and a draw for Peterborough United now see the Tykes rock-bottom of the Championship, but the Yorkshire side do have two games in hand on most teams above them and could climb out of the relegation zone with a win.

They take on playoff hopefuls Brighton & Hove Albion, who dropped out of the top six because of a narrow loss to Bolton Wanderers, who have won five on the trot and are now also chasing a playoff spot.

Barnsley will be looking to avenge the reverse fixture in August when the Seagulls ran out 5-1 winners on the south coast.

Recent form

Barnsley: LDLLWW

Brighton: LDWWWD

Possible starting lineups

Barnsley: Steele, Wiseman, Cranie, Kennedy, Foster, Etuhu, Mellis, Perkins, Cywka, Dagnall, Scotland

Brighton: Kuszczak; Bruno, El-Abd, Upson, Bridge; Crofts, Lopez, Bridcutt, Vicente; Barnes, Ulloa

Sports Mole says: 1-3
