Craig Beattie joins Barnet

Former Celtic striker Craig Beattie has reached an agreement to sign for League Two outfit Barnet.

The 29-year-old has been without a club since leaving St Johnstone in January, but has now linked up with former Dutch international Edgar Davids.

According to Sky Sports News, the move will be completed subject to international clearance, but it is understood that will be granted this week.

Beattie only joined St Johnstone at the beginning of the season, but had his contract terminated by mutual consent last month.
