Barcelona striker Luis Suarez has been targeted by David Beckham to spearhead his Inter Miami franchise from next year, according to a report.

David Beckham is reportedly looking to bring Barcelona striker Luis Suarez to Major League Soccer with his Inter Miami franchise.

The Florida-based side, part-owned by Beckham, will compete in the top tier of American football from next year.

According to Catalunya Radio, the iconic former Manchester United and Real Madrid midfielder is looking to bring some star names on board in time for the 2020 campaign.

Suarez is one of those being targeted and it is claimed that he will be handed a long-term deal with a sizeable salary.

However, the Uruguay international is said to be uninterested in departing Barcelona when he can still do a job at the top level.

In his most recent season for Barca, Suarez scored 25 goals in all competitions.
