Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly still optimistic of capturing a pair of Barcelona teenagers during the summer transfer window.
Just over a year on from fielding the feared Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappe and Neymar front three, the French champions will have none of them at their disposal for next season.
Following Messi's switch to Inter Miami and Neymar's transfer to Al-Hilal, PSG have been informed by Mbappe that he will be leaving the club when his deal runs out at the end of the campaign.
The 25-year-old is expected to belatedly agree a switch to La Liga leaders Real Madrid, and his exit will see PSG enter the latest phase of their new era, where they will focus on recruiting young talent instead of established superstars.
Reinforcements in all areas of the pitch will be sought by the Parisiens board, but attacking additions to compensate for the loss of Mbappe will be their priority, and two starlets from Barcelona feature prominently on their radar.

PSG 'in touch with Gavi representatives'
According to French outlet L'Equipe, PSG remain in contact with the entourage of former Kopa Trophy winner Gavi, whom they discussed signing last summer but failed to make serious headway in negotiations.
The 19-year-old is only under contract at Camp Nou for another two seasons, and his 2023-24 campaign was cruelly cut short when he suffered a devastating ACL injury while playing for Spain in November.
Gavi is expected to miss Euro 2024 due to the debilitating issue, but the 2004-born midfielder is still heralded as one of the brightest talents in world football, having been bestowed with the Kopa Trophy and Golden Boy awards in 2022.
PSG's chances of landing Gavi this summer are still considered slim, as Barcelona inserted a €1bn (£854.5m) release clause into his contract back in 2022, and head coach Xavi has ruled out the possibility of the midfielder departing.
However, the former Barcelona midfielder remains adamant that he will leave his post at the end of the season, and PSG are keeping their fingers crossed that his exit could tempt Gavi into a rethink.
"Amazing" bid being prepared for Lamine Yamal?

In addition to Gavi, a player three years his junior - Lamine Yamal - has been tipped to fill the shoes of Mbappe in Paris after his astonishing rise to prominence in Catalonia.
The 16-year-old has six goals and seven assists to show from 42 senior games this term, while he is also the youngest player to appear and score for the Spain men's national team.
A separate update from journalist Nicolo Schira states that PSG are ready to table an "amazing" offer to try to lure Yamal away from Catalonia, where his deal also runs until 2026.
However, Barcelona are supposedly already working on a new agreement for the 2007-born winger, despite only agreeing fresh terms with the La Masia graduate back in October.
