Javier Mascherano has agreed a new three-year contract with Spanish champions Barcelona.
At the end of the 2015-16 campaign, the central defender suggested that he could move on this summer amid talk of interest from Italian champions Juventus.
However, Mascherano appeared to change his stance earlier this month when questioned on his future, and the Argentine has now committed his future to the Catalan giants.

The 32-year-old is still on holiday after representing Argentina in the Copa America, but it is understood that his agent Walter Tamer has been in Barcelona for talks since the start of the week.
Mascherano, who had two years left to run on his existing deal, has won four La Liga titles and two Champions League crowns since moving to Spain from Liverpool in 2010.
