Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas is still hopeful that Memphis Depay could sign a new deal with the club.
The 27-year-old's current contract with the Ligue 1 side is due to expire at the end of June, and Barcelona are thought to be determined to bring him to Camp Nou this summer.
However, Aulas 'dreams' that the Netherlands international will extend his stay at the club and believes that winning France's top flight could convince the attacker to pen fresh terms.
"For Memphis, I dream that he accepts our proposal, which is still relevant. He brings so much, he has been directly involved in 23 league goals this season. The offer will stay there and, if we are champions, why not?" Aulas told AFP.
Memphis has again been in impressive form for his French club during the 2020-21 campaign, scoring 15 times and contributing nine assists in 30 appearances in all competitions.
The Dutchman has netted 69 goals and registered 52 assists in 168 outings for Les Gones since arriving from Manchester United in 2017.
