Inter Milan have reportedly told Barcelona to include both Arturo Vidal and Antoine Griezmann in any deal to prise Lautaro Martinez away from San Siro.
Barca are understood to have identified Martinez as their ideal choice to be a long-term successor for 33-year-old Luis Suarez.
However, the Spanish giants have seen their transfer plans heavily impacted by the coronavirus pandemic and are therefore struggling to meet Inter Milan's asking price for the Argentine.
Martinez has an €111m (£96.9m) release clause in his contract with the Serie A outfit, although recent reports have suggested that Inter have lowered their demands and would consider a bid of €90m (£78.5m).
Barcelona are keen to include players in the deal in an attempt to lower the cash fee even more and, while Inter would prefer a lump cash sum, SPORT reports that they would be willing to strike a deal if Vidal and Griezmann are the players included in a swap.
The report claims that Inter want former Juventus midfielder Vidal on a permanent basis and Griezmann on loan, just one year on from the Frenchman joining Barcelona in a £107m move from Atletico Madrid.
Martinez has scored 16 goals in 31 appearances for Inter Milan across all competitions this season.
