Palmeiras forward Gabriel Jesus has revealed that he 'intends' to remain at his current club, despite being linked with a number of top-level European outfits.
The 19-year-old, who is expected to represent Brazil at the 2016 Olympic Games, has been linked with moves to Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Juventus, Manchester City and Manchester United.
However, despite seemingly being one of the most in-demand attackers in world football, Gabriel has committed his short-term future to Palmeiras, where he has scored six times in his last four matches.
"My future is decided. My intention is to stay at Palmeiras," Gabriel told SporTV. "I have confidence in our work and in that of Cuca, the coach. Right now the team is very strong, and then I want to stay here, where I am happy and I am fighting for the title."
Earlier this month, Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu all but confirmed that his club wanted to bring the attacker to Camp Nou.
