Luis Enrique: 'Unthinkable that Lionel Messi will leave Barcelona'

Barcelona boss Luis Enrique refuses to entertain the idea of Lionel Messi leaving Camp Nou.

Barcelona boss Luis Enrique is confident that Lionel Messi will remain with the Catalan outfit for the foreseeable future.

The Argentine has been linked with a move away from Camp Nou in recent months amid talk of a strained relationship with Enrique.

Messi said at the Ballon d'Or ceremony on Monday that he was 'unsure of his future', but Enrique is not worried about a departure.

"The thought of having a team without Messi is not even something we contemplate," Enrique told reporters.

"I don't know what the future holds for us but we all think that Messi will be at Barca in the next few years and that is what all the Cules want."

Messi has been linked with moves to Manchester United, Real Madrid, Manchester City and Chelsea.
