Gerard Deulofeu could remain at Everton another year

Barcelona are open to the possibility of letting Gerard Deulofeu stay at Everton another year, according to a report.

Barcelona have not ruled out the possibility of Gerard Deulofeu returning to Everton on loan next season, according to reports.

The promising 19-year-old has already impressed Blues fans with his performance in the recent League Cup clash with Stevenage, in which he scored the equalising goal in a 2-1 victory at Goodison Park.

According to talkSPORT, Blaugrana have told Roberto Martinez that the winger may be allowed to stay on Merseyside for another year should he settle into life in the Premier League.

The current agreement stipulates that the Spanish side will waive a loan fee if the Spanish Under-21 international plays in 50% of the Toffees' matches during the campaign.
