Barcelona are reportedly planning to move for both Borussia Dortmund's Erling Braut Haaland and AC Milan's Franck Kessie ahead of the 2022-23 campaign.
Haaland will have a £67m release clause in his Dortmund contract this summer, and Barcelona have seemingly emerged as the favourites for his signature despite interest from a host of other leading European clubs.
According to Marca, the Catalan giants are determined to press ahead with a move for the Norway international, who is viewed as the club's leading target in the final third of the field.
Haaland has scored 23 goals and registered six assists in 20 appearances for BVB this term, and Xavi's side are believed to be confident of signing him despite their financial problems.
The report also claims that Kessie is wanted to bolster the midfield, with the Ivory Coast international set to be available on a free transfer at the end of June.
Milan have thus far been unable to sign the 25-year-old to an extension, and he is allegedly preparing to leave San Siro following the expiration of his contract.
