Manchester United are reportedly likely to move for one of four strikers when they attempt to strengthen their forward line during the summer.

Manchester United have allegedly compiled a four-man striker shortlist ahead of the summer transfer window.

With Cristiano Ronaldo having turned 37 years of age and the long-term future of Mason Greenwood very much in doubt, United are under pressure to strengthen their forward line ahead of 2022-23.

According to The Sun, the Premier League giants have identified four players who they would like to sign later this year.

Erling Braut Haaland is a natural choice with many clubs expected to activate his release clause, but alternatives to the Borussia Dortmund man are also said to have been chosen.

Harry Kane is an option, providing that Tottenham Hotspur are willing to do business with United, as are Everton's Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Inter Milan's Lautaro Martinez.

Much could depend on who is chosen to be United's manager next season, assuming that they do not persist with interim boss Ralf Rangnick.
