Barcelona are reportedly considering a summer move for Lyon centre-back Jason Denayer.
The 26-year-old has again been a regular for his French club during the 2021-22 campaign, making 17 appearances in all competitions, contributing three goals and one assist in the process, although he has been on the sidelines since the start of December with an ankle problem.
Denayer's contract with Lyon is due to expire at the end of June, and it is alleged that he is keen to leave the Ligue 1 side in search of pastures new.
According to Het Nieuwsblad, Barcelona have set their sights on the Belgium international, with the defender viewed as the ideal low-cost signing by the Catalan club.
The report claims that Newcastle United, Juventus and Napoli are also keeping a close eye on developments with a view to making a move for him at the end of the campaign.
Denayer, who has also played for Celtic, Galatasaray and Sunderland during his professional career, has made 136 appearances for Lyon since joining the club from Manchester City in 2018.
