Barcelona 'preparing £100m Lautaro Martinez bid'

Barcelona are reportedly preparing a £100m bid for Inter Milan forward Lautaro Martinez.

Inter are under pressure to sell this summer as they look to secure a deal for Manchester United's Romelu Lukaku.

Mauro Icardi has been strongly linked with a move away from the Italian giants, but it appears that Martinez is drawing the strongest interest.

According to Radio La Red, Barca have decided to pursue Martinez over Icardi and the Spanish champions are preparing a £100m swoop for the 21-year-old.

The centre-forward scored nine times in 35 appearances for Inter during the 2018-19 campaign, while he has netted twice for Argentina at this summer's Copa America.

Martinez registered 27 goals in 60 appearances for Racing Club before moving to the San Siro in last summer's transfer window.

Barca are also said to be closing in a deal for Atletico Madrid's Antoine Griezmann despite late interest from Manchester United.
