Barcelona make contact with Paris Saint-Germain to discuss re-signing Neymar this summer, according to a report.

Barcelona have reportedly made contact with Paris Saint-Germain as they attempt to bring Neymar back to the club during this summer's transfer window.

The Brazil international recently said that he was "truly very happy" in the French capital and talks over a new contract with Mauricio Pochettino's side were moving in the right direction.

Neymar has still not penned a fresh deal, though, and his existing terms are due to expire in June 2022.

According to RAC1, Barca have approached PSG to discuss the possibility of re-signing the South American in the upcoming market.

The report claims that Neymar is the La Liga club's number one target ahead of Borussia Dortmund's Erling Braut Haaland, but Pochettino's team have insisted that the former Santos youngster is not for sale.

The 29-year-old scored 105 goals and registered 76 assists in 186 appearances for Barca between 2013 and 2017 before making a surprise move to the French capital.

Since arriving at PSG, Neymar has scored 84 goals and registered 50 assists in 110 appearances at club level, winning three Ligue 1 titles.
